Green Bay Packers NFL Draft 2018 day 2 big board
2. Joshua Jackson, Cornerback, Iowa
Joshua Jackson is also still on the board and would be a great player for the Packers to add to their secondary.
Even despite drafting Alexander, Jackson’s potential to be an excellent playmaker might be too much to pass up. He was great at Iowa last season, but that was the only year he flashed. He recorded eight interceptions and has future ball-hawk written all over him.
Although he’s not an elite athlete, he’s tall enough and athletic enough to overcome it. He’d also be able to play on the outside which is something different than what Alexander brings to the table.
I doubt he makes it to pick No. 45, but if he does, don’t be surprised to see Green Bay double down.
