2. Dane Cruikshank
Cruikshank struggled mightily as a press corner his junior year. Which is why scouts believe he will fare better as an off-man safety on the next level. His build and strength look every bit the part of an NFL safety. Cruikshank tied for first among safeties when he put up 25 reps on the bench press at the combine.

The Packers met with Cruikshank for a pre-draft visit thinking he might be able to add a new wrinkle to a mundane group of defensive backs. How teams view him indicates slight hesitation as most boards give him a third or fourth round grade. However, the Packers might not delay pulling the trigger with a pair of fourth-round picks.
