3. Siran Neal

If Mike Pettine is looking for a hybrid safety, he won’t have to look further than Jacksonville State’s Siran Neal. Neal started out as an outside linebacker before playing safety and then moving to outside corner in 2017.

The Division I-AA product worked out with the safeties at the scouting combine where he showcased his athleticism. The 40.5-inch vertical he turned in was the fourth best for his position. Neal may begin his career as a special-teamer but he has the size and commitment coaches look for. With proper coaching, e could develop into a regular starter.
