7. Bradley Chubb, DE, North Carolina State (Previous: 9)

Bradley Chubb also moved up two spots to No. 9 on the Packers’ big board. Chubb is the second-ranked prospect on Kiper Jr’s big board and would be a huge get for the Packers (even though it’s highly unlikely).

Chubb’s fit with the Packers would be a little awkward, as he’s probably best as a 4-3 defensive end. He’s certainly a pass-rush specialist and is able to get to the quarterback from anywhere on the outside. He’s also a good run stopper and would have no issues there.

The question for the Packers would be how he fits into their scheme. He’s had very little to no experience in coverage before and would likely get eaten alive. Also, I’m not sure how he’d fit as a 3-4 defensive end either.

Regardless, if Green Bay did end up selecting Chubb, he’s a player you build your defense around. New defensive coordinator Mike Pettine would figure out a way to play to his strengths and allow him to be the disrupter he is.
