9. Quenton Nelson, OG, Notre Dame (Previous: 13)

Quenton Nelson takes the biggest leap from NO. 13 into the top 10 at No. 9 and mostly because of an online heckler. See! Making your voice heard can pay off. I hope that guy’s happy now.

Nelson is one of the top talents in the draft regardless of position. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. has him ranked as his fourth-best prospect. I’m not willing to put him that high on the board because he doesn’t fill a position of need for the Packers.

Sure, they have an opening at right guard with the pending free agent Jahri Evans. But Justin McCray proved he could hold that position down and then some during his play last season.

Nelson will likely be far-gone by the Packers pick at No. 14 anyway, but even if he somehow was there, new general manager Brian Gutekunst would have a long, hard decision to make.
