The Milwaukee Bucks had another good showing at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and were able to even up the series 2-2 against the Boston Celtics.

The Milwaukee Bucks built a huge lead in the second and third quarters and were able to survive a furious run from the Boston Celtics that even saw them take a lead for a moment. Let’s take a look at all the highlights, but first, here are some notable box scores:

Giannis Antetokounmpo:27 points, seven rebounds, five assists

Khris Middleton: 23 points, six rebounds, two assists

Jabari Parker: 16 points, seven rebounds, 2-3 from three-point line

Eric Bledsoe: nine points, one rebound, five assists, 3-9 from the field

Jerry Rozier: 10 points, five rebounds, eight assists, 3-12 from the field

Jaylen Brown: 34 points, eight rebounds

Jayson Tatum: 21 points, three rebounds, three assists

The Bucks started the game out somewhat slow, falling behind 12-5 and struggling to make shots in the opening few minutes. However, they quickly turned it around at the mid-way point and went on a 19-5 run to close the first including two buckets in the final 1.2 seconds.

Milwaukee was rejuvenated by Matthew Dellavedova and Thon Maker once again and carried that momentum into the second quarter. Although things started to get chippy, Milwaukee stayed calm and continued to build on the lead, going up by 16 points at the half.

Boston went on a run in the third quarter and closed the gap to eight points with one period left to play. It was partly due to the Celtics’ improved play, but mostly the Bucks losing their way. They settled for long shot after long shot and didn’t push the pace as much as they had been. The Bucks also lost some of their energy from the first half and that seemed to take them out of their game.

At one point, it seemed the Bucks were going to do everything they could to blow the game, ccompletelygiving up a 20-point lead to see the Celtics take a one-point advantage. However, they showed great resilience and did enough to hang on to the lead. Check out the play of series so far when Antetokounmpo dunked all over Al Horford. RIP Horford.

With the series now tied 2-2, they two teams head back to Boston on Tuesday where the Celtics will look to regain control. Milwaukee needs to ensure they play with the same energy and passion they did in their two games at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
