Green Bay Packers: 5 dream targets for 2018 NFL Draft

2. Joshua Jackson, CB, Iowa

This is a tricky one. Joshua Jackson is a dream target for the Packers, but hopefully not in the first round. The part where their dream comes in would be if he slips to them in the middle of the second or they go up and get up at the end of the first or early second.

He’s being mentioned with the Packers No. 14 pick, but the most recent mock drafts on ESPN have him going toward the end of the first round.

Jackson is a huge ballhawk which would be a huge addition to the Packers’ roster and provide them with something they’ve been missing since Charles Woodson and Tramon Willaims. He recorded eight interceptions and 18 pass deflections last season at Iowa and there’s no reason he shouldn’t be able to replicate that in the NFL.

Even if the Packers draft a corner in the first round, I’d be okay with the Packers taking Jackson as well. It would provide them with multiple options in the future and immediately turn a weakness into a strength.
