5. DJ Chark, WR, LSU

Dairyland Express’s own Joe Kipp did a great job outlining DJ Chark here. He does a great job highlighting Chark’s amazing speed and how that would fit into the Packers’ offense perfectly.

Chark ran a 4.34 40-yard dash at the NFL combine, providing the Packers with the element they need most; speed. Although he didn’t produce huge numbers at LSU, his athleticism jumps off the page and he could see a huge uptick in his production thanks to the greatest quarterback on earth, Aaron Rodgers.

Chark is projected to go in the second round and will very much be in play when the Packers go on the clock with the 45th overall selection. Green Bay has other needs to address that early in the draft and Chark is somewhat of a luxury pick. However, if a cornerback falls to them in Round 1, don’t be surprised to see them grab this speedster with their second pick. And if they do, watch out!
