The Green Bay Packers desperately need to hit a home run in the 2018 NFL Draft. Here are five players they’d love to have.

The Green Bay Packers need a big impact from their 2018 rookie class in the worst way. If they’re lucky, they’ll find some players who can step in immediately and make positive contributions. These five players certainly fit in that category.

They’ve fallen behind a bit in the arms race for the NFC even with Aaron Rodgers at the helm. Arguably their biggest division rival, the Minnesota Vikings, have added Kirk Cousins at quarterback and will be getting Dalvin Cook back as well.

The Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, San Franciso 49ers and Atlanta Falcons also figure to be major competition on the road to the Super Bowl.

In order for Green Bay to catch up to those teams, especially on the defensive side of the ball, they should hope for these five players to fall into their laps in the appropriate rounds.

They won’t be able to get all these players, however, as some of them are projected to be taken in the same range. But if they can get their hands on as many as possible it should result in a best-case scenario for the Packers.
