7. Austin Ramesh, FB

If you’ve ever heard Matt Millen broadcast a Badgers’ game, you’ll know he loves the name Ramesh on a fullback. After listening to him go on five-minute rants every game, it’s all I ever think about now when I hear Austin Ramesh’s name.

Ramesh has the misfortune of playing a dying position in the NFL which really hurts his draft stock. He is the third and final player on this list to not receive an invite to the combine, but has the best chance of hearing his name called on the Day 3 of the players listed thus far (albeit an outside one).

He’s had a few workouts and visits with some NFL teams including the Arizona Cardinals and it appears his best chance to catch on with a team is by showcasing the versatility he displayed the last two seasons.

Even though he usually lined up as the traditional fullback, head coach Paul Chryst ensured he touched the ball a couple times a game as he averaged 17 rushing attempts per seasons in 2016 and 2017. He also caught 13 receptions and scored six total touchdowns in his career.

If he can prove to teams there’s more of that production to come, he may be able to squeeze into Round 7.
