The Milwaukee Bucks finally got on the board with their Game 3 victory. Here are the Bucks’ highlights from their game against the Boston Celtics.

The Milwaukee Bucks desperately needed a victory against the Boston Celtics to keep their playoff hopes alive and that’s exactly what they delivered in a blowout victory. The Bucks were hot from the start and used stellar defense to generate the victory. Here are some notable stats:

Giannis Antetokounmpo: 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists 3-4 from three-point line

Khris MIddleton: 23 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists 10-17 field goals

Eric Bledsoe: 17 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 8-13 field goals

Jerry Rozier: 9 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assists, 2-7 field goals

Jabari Parker:17 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assits

Thon Maker: 14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 blocks

The first quarter was off to a very energetic start for the Bucks, as they fed off their great crowd at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The Bucks took control from the beginning of the quarter and never let go. They continued to press on defense despite racking up the fouls and took a 15 point lead heading into the second.

The second quarter was just as good, as the Bucks continued to build on their lead.  Milwaukee got huge contributions from their bench players including Parker and Maker. Matthew Dellavedova also played a huge role even though you won’t see it on a stat sheet.

Milwaukee came out somewhat flat in the third quarter and lacked the same energy they showed in the first half. Even though basketball is a game of runs, the Bucks were able to withstand Boston’s and hold the lead going into the final quarter.

With the Celtics on the verge of gaining momentum, Milwaukee quickly put that to rest in the fourth quarter. Despite, Antetokounmpo picking up his fifth foul early on and heading to the bench, the Bucks continued to add to the lead. With about six minutes left, Brad Stevens sent in his bench, signaling the end of the game.
