1. Win the turnover battle.

The Bucks had their sloppiest game of the season against the Celtics and it shouldn’t be a surprise. Boston head coach Brad Stevens drummed up a beautiful game plan that packed the paint and forced the Bucks to get away from what they do best, scoring inside.

Time and time again, the Bucks tried to force it inside only to see the Celtics knock it loose and come away with the ball going the other way. On the night, the Bucks had 20 turnovers including eight in the first quarter.

The Celtics also committed their fair share, 15 in all, but were a lot more careful than the Bucks. Milwaukee loves to get out and run and the key to doing so will be to continue to force turnovers at a high rate in order to prevent Boston from getting into their halfcourt defense.

Milwaukee needs to clean this area up in order to avoid easy buckets for the opposing team. With Boston being down their two best scorers, the more easy buckets they get the better.

Next: Bucks fans have reason to be cautiously optimistic

At the end of the day, don’t expect Milwaukee to be this sloppy again, as they were fairly disciplined in the regular season.
