1.Rashaan Evans, Alabama

Rashaan Evans is the best player on this list and would only be selected by the Packers if he falls a bit in the draft and they move back into the first round to select him.

As it stands, his draft projection is somewhere around the mid-to-late first round, but Green Bay should certainly not select him with their first pick.

Evans recorded 13 sacks at Alabama last season and is a force to be reckoned with. NFL.com believes he’s a great as an inside linebacker in the 3-4 scheme as long as the team is “blitz happy.” While it remains to be seen what kind of scheme Mike Pettine will run, that’s a certain possibility.

Evans would immediately become a starter next to Martinez and could create a nice little 1-2 punch. Their skill sets offset one another and they’d compliment each other nicely.

There’s likely to be a player better suited to meet Green Bay’s needs at No. 14, but if they want to get a little rowdy and make some noise they could move back into the first and select Evans.
