Green Bay Packers: 5 pass rushers to consider in 2018 NFL Draft

5. Uchenna Nwosu, USC

Uchenna Nwosu is categorized as an edge rusher according to Pro Football Focus and that’s exactly why he’s on this list.

Nwosu might not be able to do much else at the NFL level besides rush the passer and that might be okay for Green Bay, as they could use a specialist in the passing game. However, he’ll be able to develop into a true 3-4 outside linebacker at some point in his career.

He came on during his senior season at USC, recording 9.5 sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss. That tripled his previous career total since he only had three sacks coming into the 2017 season.

NFL.com predicts him to go in Rounds 3-4 and gives him a grade of 5.62 which is great news for the Packers. They have multiple picks in round 4 and could choose to use one of them if Nwosu is still on the board. He might not be a bad way to start Day Three.
