13. Quenton Nelson, OG, Notre Dame

Quenton Nelson is a stud offensive guard from Notre Dame and is projected to go in the top 10 of the draft this year. In fact, Kiper Jr. has him going at number eight to the Chicago Bears.

McShay has him ranked as his number two overall prospect with a grade of 95 and is in his first tier of players. NFL.com has given him a grade of 7.34 which means he’ll become a Pro Bowl caliber player.

Pro Football Focus also has him ranked as their fourth best prospect and first overall guard with a grade of 95.1.

Nelson is as consistent and reliable as they come, excelling in both the pass and run game. He never gets pushed around at the line of scrimmage and loves to punish defenders. He would certainly add another layer of toughness to the Packers that would go a long way.

There’s almost no chance he makes it to 14, but if he does the Packers would at least have to consider him. Especially with their glaring need at right guard given Jahari Evans remains unsigned and is likely to retire or not come back.
