3. Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State

Denzel Ward may not be as talented as some of the other players behind him on this list, but he’s talented enough and plays a position of huge need for the Packers.

At only 5-foot-10, he’s on the smaller side for cornerbacks especially considering how Green Bay operates at the position. He’ll likely try to begin his career on the outside, but might be forced inside based on his lack of size.

McShay has him ranked as his sixth-best prospect with a grade of 94 and Kiper Jr. mocked him to go to the Oakland Raiders at No. 10. If he can slip just a few spots, the Packers will have a great opportunity to snatch him up.

NFL.com also gives him a grade of 6.31 which means he’ll have a chance to become an instant starter. Pro Football Focus ranks him as their third-best corner behind Jackson and Minkah Fitzpatrick.

He’d certainly bring talent to the Packers secondary and might be a good player to offset the lengthy King on the other side of the field. We’ll just have to wait and see.
