3. Kyzir White, S, West Virginia

With Morgan Burnett having departed for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Packers would be wise to grab some extra depth at the position. Enter Kyzir White.

White is another player projected to go in the middle rounds, so obviously Green Bay wouldn’t be able to select all three of these players listed so far. However, he is also a competitor who plays hard despite not having elite physical attributes.

At 6-foot-2 and 216 pounds, White has an NFL-ready body that should help him adjust to the physicality of the game. Despite playing safety at West Virginia, NFL.com reports teams are looking to transition him into more of a hybrid coverage safety-linebacker role due to his lack of speed.

Pro Football Focus reports he’s a great run defender and is capable of covering tight ends and running backas as well. Both of those traits are attractive to the Packers so they should certainly consider this hard-worker with a mid-round selection.
