TWO DOWN: WEARING OUT THE ‘PEN

The Brewers coaching staff and front office have shown all the signs of not needing to rely completely on their starting rotation for big inning totals, hence having guys like Hader, Jennings, Jeremy Jeffress, and Taylor Williams who can all go multiple innings with ease.

However, that hasn’t led to great results to this point.

The Brewers have thrown 52 2/3 innings out of the bullpen, first in the National League and fourth in the Majors. And fatigue has definitely been showing, with almost daily moves happening to bring up bullpen help.
