5. Packers trade No. 101 and No. 133 to Patriots for No. 95.

It’s always a dangerous proposition trading with the New England Patriots, but sometimes you have to take that risk. In this scenario, Green Bay sends No. 101 (fourth round) and No. 133 (compensatory pick in the fourth round) to the Patriots for No. 95 (last pick in third round).

Although this may seem like overkill to move up six spots, it would allow the Packers to jump ahead of a few teams with similar needs and select another playmaker to add to their roster.

The 95th pick is worth 120 points and the Packers would be giving up 136 points (96 for No. 101 and 40 for No. 133). That may be a little unbalanced so the Packers might ask for a future late-round pick to help even the score.

With the pick, Gutekunst would have a few opportunities to grab either a cornerback (Christian Cambell of Penn State), a wide receiver (Tre’Quan Smith of Central Florida or Daurice Fountain of Northern Iowa) or another pass-rusher (Shaquem Griffin of Central Florida or Dorian O’Daniel of Clemson).

All of those are positions of need for the Packers depending on how their first two picks go.
