The Green Bay Packers have a plethora of draft picks in 2018 (12 total), so here are five potential deals they might try to swing.

The Green Bay Packers will have plenty of opportunities to improve their team during the 2018 NFL Draft. With 12 selections, including the 14th overall pick, they’ll be able to get a good start at filling the holes they have on their team.

In fact, the 12 picks might even be too much, giving the Packers more flexibility to move them in exchange for other goods.

There’s no saying exactly how new general manager Brian Gutekunst will approach his first draft at the helm or whether he’ll be aggressive in making moves. Right now, it’s anyone’s guess.

However, if free agency gave us any clues it’s that Gutekunst will be fairly aggressive. That could mean trading up, trading down, trading back into the first, swapping mid-round picks or acquiring more picks next year. The possibilities are endless.

For this exercise, I used the draft pick trade value chart presented by Pro Football Reference to give us a good idea of the value of the picks being exchanged. This is one of the most common charts used and was made famous by Jimmy Johnson of the Dallas Cowboys.

One thing to note, it has marked on here the Packers select 114th overall (fourth round) and 150 (fifth.) However, after their trade with the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay is selecting 101st overall (fourth) and 138th overall (fifth) so those changes are noted in the trades below.

If Gutekunst does choose to make some moves, here are five ideas he could entertain in order to improve his team.
