Green Bay Packers: 5 wide receivers to consider in 2018 NFL Draft

1. Michael Gallup

Michael Gallup comes in at number one on this list and for good reason. He’s not getting nearly the love he deserves by some of the national media outlets, but Pro Football Focus has him ranked as their number one rated wide receiver and 24th best overall prospect.

They believe he has the best combination of athleticism and production in this year’s class, even ahead of Alabama’s Calvin Ridley.

Given that he played at Colorado State University, it’s somewhat hard to judge how legit his production was, but he had a good Senior Bowl week and tested well at the NFL combine in order to back up his production.

Gallup has a great combination of skills that allow him to run short, intermediate and deep routes and do it successfully.

He’d truly give the Packers a threat at all three levels and another weapon for Rodgers. Although is 40-time isn’t in barn burning status, he still posted a decently solid 4.51.

Based on projections right now, he would be an absolute steal at the end of the third or beginning of the fourth round.
