3. Courtland Sutton

Courtland Sutton is a redshirt junior out of Southern Methodist University who possesses good size at 6-foot-3 and 218 pounds.

Pro Football Focus has him rated as their No. 30 prospect overall and fourth-best wide receiver in this year’s class.

He figures to be a beast in the red zone, as he caught 31 touchdown passes during his career at SMU. His big body would fit in with the players the Packers appear to be looking to acquire in their receiving corpse.

Although he’s not a speedster, he has enough to make defenses respect him. He’s also slippery as hell after the catch and forces a lot of missed tackles.

Sutton is projected to go at the top of the second round, so he might be available by the time the Packers pick. If so, Gutekunst and company will have to take a nice, hard look at the youngster.
