The Wisconsin Badgers hold their annual Spring Football Game on Friday and here are five things to look for during the contest.

Whether you knew it or not, the Wisconsin Badgers football team has been back at it for some time now. They were supposed to have their annual Spring Football game on Friday, April 13 at 6 pm CT, but they canceled it on Tuesday due to inclement weather.

Which is unfortunate for a number of reasons, least of which is because I had this beautiful slideshow for five things to watch during their Spring Game. However, being the creative genius I am, I decided to switch gears a bit and make this article about five things to focus on during the rest of their Spring practices.

NCAA teams allow colleges to hold 15 practices and Wisconsin has used 9 of them as of Tuesday.. However, in what’s an unusual move, the Badgers were supposed to then hold an additional three practices after Friday. Typically, the game marks the end of the Spring practices for teams. So they still have about a weeks worth of practices left for us to be tuned in on.

Although Wisconsin is returning a lot of experience on offense, there are still some things that need to be worked out and some position battles up in the air. Most notably are along the offensive line and at tight end.

On defense, Wisconsin has to replace most of their secondary which will be a daunting task considering the talent they lost. They also have a couple of key positions to fill in the front seven which won’t be easy either.

However, they aren’t in a different boat than any other team in the NCAA and will have plenty of returning talent on both sides of the ball to compete with the best teams come Fall. Until then, let’s check out five things to watch for during the rest of the practices.
