LeBron James made this move famous back in his prime and Antetokounmpo has certainly taken note. In fact, Antetokounmpo has probably taken over as the most prolific chasedown blocker in the NBA.

On this particular play, teammates and Antetokounmpo alike said the Greek Freak was yelling at Middleton not to foul because he knew he was going to gobble the shot up at the rim:

After a turnover, Jaylen Brown was off to the races amongst a few Bucks’ players. Middleton was the last defender back and was tasked with trying to stop Brown from scoring. However, thanks to Antetokounmpo’s communication, he put his hands up and let Brown euro-step by him. Then, as Brown was about to lay the ball off the glass, the Greek Freak came out of nowhere and pinned it against the backboard. Although the play was initially called a goaltend, it was reviewed and reversed.
