1. Josh Jackson, CB, Iowa

Iowa cornerback Josh Jackson has become a popular name amongst Packer fans. However, Green Bay would be best to avoid him at all costs.

After hardly playing during his first two years in college, he exploded onto the scene in 2017. And I mean exploded. According to Pro Football Focus, he recorded eight interceptions, 18 pass deflections and only a 44 percent completion percentage.

Before playing 881 snaps last year, he only played 283 in his first two seasons. The sudden jump in playing time and great results are awesome, but not having a history of sustained success scares me.

He also only moved to the cornerback position in 2015 so he has less than four years under his belt. This lack of experience is equally worrisome and makes me wonder whether his production is sustainable or not.

The Packers haven’t had success recently with transitioning players from their natural position to cornerback so maybe it’s just recency bias, but I’d hate to see the Packers get burned again.
