3. Giannis Antetokounmpo breaks ankles.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is having the first of what’s sure to be many MVP caliber seasons for the Bucks and he’s been able to do a little bit of everything. Whether it’s play point guard or center, grab rebounds, get a bucket, or lockdown a defender-he’s your man.

And now, we can add ankle-breaker to that list as well:

After catching the ball on the wing, he uses a lethal pump fake to make his defender think he’s going to take the outside shot. Then, right when his man is getting ready to contest the shot, he shoots out of a cannon toward the middle of the lane, leaving his man on his buttocks in the middle of the court.

But the play doesn’t stop there, as he continues toward the rim and finishes the difficult and-one layup.

It’s plays like these that endear us to Antetoknoumpo more and more.
