Game Two: Tuesday, April 3. 6:40 PM CT. Fox Sports Wisconsin

Probable Starters: Jack Flaherty (RHP) vs. Chase Anderson (RHP)

Chase Anderson pitched wonderfully in the season opener for the Brewers although he didn’t receive the decision. He only allowed one hit and zero runs across six innings which really set the tone for Milwaukee. Now, if only he can learn to slide properly he might be able to stay healthy all season.

The Brewers’ hitters will be going up against Jack Flaherty, a 22-year-old rookie who only made five starts last season and compiled a 6.33 ERA.

Milwaukee’s lineup that consists of dangerous hitters up-and-down, especially at the top of the order, should have no trouble getting to Flaherty.

Newcomers Lorenzo Cain and Christian Yelich were en fuego in their first series against the San Diego Padres racking up eight and seven hits respectively. Third baseman Travis Shaw also collected five hits in 14 plate appearances as well.

Ryan Braun’s lone hit was a big one, a go-ahead three-run blast in the top of the ninth on Friday night and he had a rest day on Saturday. He should be back and ready to go where he’ll likely be in the outfield if he gets the start against Flaherty.
