1. Denzel Ward

Denzel Ward would be the perfect draft pick for the Packers and an absolute home run if they get him. If he’s still around at 14, he’ll be the perfect combination of best player available and fits their biggest need.

Ward is ranked as Kiper’s ninth-best prospect on his big board and might only rise as we get closer to draft day. That might be bad news for the Packers, but that’s the type of player Ward is.

He’s blazing fast, registering a 4.32 40-yard dash at the combine and appears to have all the tools necessary to be a shut-down corner in the NFL. He already has good technique to build upon and showed good ball skills by breaking up nine passes last season despite not getting an interception.

His only downfall is that he’s on the smaller side, measuring in at 5-foot-11 and 183 pounds, but that gets him past the Packers’ height requirements for the position (just barely).

If he gets past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at number seven, there’s a good chance he could end up with the green and gold.
