2. Tremaine Edmunds, OLB, Virginia Tech

Kiper describes Edmunds as a “freak athlete” and that’s exactly what this Packers team needs more of. In the past, they’ve failed to make the splashy plays that can completely change a ball game around and Edmunds can help fix that.

In the past two seasons, he’s spent more time in his opponent’s backfield, as he’s recorded 32.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.

Edmunds isn’t the type of player who can be pigeon-holed as a one-trick pony. Instead, he’s a versatile player who can rush the passer almost as effectively as he can cover a running back coming out of the backfield.

This versatility would be great for the Packers, as it allows them to mix him in with the other playmakers they have on their team such as Clay Matthews. It’s also what pushed him ahead of Davenport in these rankings.
