The Brooklyn Nets are the worst team in the NBA. That doesn’t mean a trade can’t be worked out at the deadline.

Off The Table

  • No One- The Bucks could acquire any of Brooklyn’s players by adding draft picks into the deal. The Nets only hope is to strike gold in the draft and find a superstar to build around.

Possibilities

  • Brook Lopez- Lopez would give the Bucks a consistent scorer and eliminate the sustained droughts currently costing them wins. Milwaukee would need to send Greg Monroe and next year’s first-round draft choice for a chance at Lopez.
  • Draft Picks- If the Nets floated the idea of their 2017 lottery pick, the Bucks would have to listen. Surely, negotiations would start with Jabari Parker. It would be difficult to part ways after Parker’s 2017 improvements, however, questions remain about his defense and fit with the team. With point guard’s Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball sitting atop the draft, the Bucks could choose to make a splash.

Best Case Scenario

The Bucks listen to offers about the number one pick but are able to acquire Brook Lopez for Greg Monroe and their first-round pick.
