The Boston Celtics are competing for a top seed in the Eastern Conference. Boston also has enough depth to work out a deal. Do the Bucks have the pieces to create interest?

Off The Table

  • Isiah Thomas- Thomas has become an elite scorer and is one of the league’s most exciting players. Jabari Parker might not even be enough to make the trade.
  • Avery Bradley- Not only would the Celtics be reluctant to part with Bradley but he might not be the best fit in Milwaukee. Between Antetokounmpo, Parker, and Middleton, there would not be enough shots to go around.
  • Al Horford- The Bucks do not have the talent to pry Horford from Boston.

Possibilities

  • Jae Crowder- Acquiring Crowder would please the fan base and Jason Kidd. Crowder would bring a badly needed defensive presence. The Bucks would need to include Greg Monroe and a future draft pick.
  • Jaelyn Brown- The Milwaukee Bucks could go bold and take a chance on the youth and athleticism of Jaelyn Brown. If Hammond and Kidd don’t see Jabari Parker working out long-term, they could acquire Brown and another quality player such as Marcus Smart or Jae Crowder.

Best Case Scenario

The Milwaukee Bucks trade Greg Monroe and 2nd round pick for Jae Crowder.
