Jordy Nelson is coming off a week of rest, something that he and the Packers believe could help him take the next step in fully recovering from his ACL injury.

Just by using “the eye test,” it appears Nelson has only been at about 80-85 percent to start the season, and that’s already been a boost for the offense.

After the early bye, he could be ready to find that extra burst his game has lacked over the first three games. If that’s the case, look for Rodgers and Nelson to find plenty of yardage against a suspect defensive backfield.

If you’ve got Nelson in a fantasy league, expect your team to put up some major points.

The veteran duo will certainly look to exploit the youth and inexperience of the safeties, as well as the often over-aggressive nature of Janoris Jenkins.

Nelson remains the big-play guy for the Packers and there’s no reason to think that will be different on Sunday. Considering Rodgers’ struggles without Nelson, he’ll continue to look his way when they need a first down or more.

If you’ve got Nelson in a fantasy league, expect your team to put up some major points. Everything about this matchup looks to favor the Packers.

I’d put the 31-year-old wide receiver down for seven receptions and 131 yards in the game. That would include a pair of plays over 40 yards and two touchdowns.
