The veteran defensive end had a strong 2015 and is off to a terrific start this year. The Packers would be wise to key on his whereabouts.

Especially with the injuries to Levy and Ansah, Devin Taylor’s role becomes even greater.

Taylor picked up seven sacks last season in 15 games, as he totaled 28 tackles and seven assists. He’s already making an impact in 2016, too.

Through two games, Taylor has eight tackles, five assists and 1.5 sacks. That includes a safety last week to open the scoring for Detroit.

Taylor had a pair of sacks when these teams met in Detroit last season.

Assuming Detroit will be gun-shy to blitz Rodgers, Taylor will need to be the one to knock down the QB. A tough task against the Packers’ offensive line, but possible.

Taylor had a pair of sacks when these teams met in Detroit last season.

He nearly had a third sack, but you may recall Taylor was the one who grabbed Rodgers’ face mask to set up the untimed down and Hail Mary touchdown.

If Taylor can legally get his hands on the QB on a regular basis Sunday, it could continue to disrupt the Packers’ offense.

He could get some help from emerging defensive tackle Kerry Hyder, as well.

Hyder has now played in three career games, but already has a pair of sacks this year. He’s a relative unknown getting his first real opportunity.
