6. Bubba Franks (2000-07)

The Green Bay Packers selected Miami All-American Bubba Franks with the 14th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft and weren’t disappointed.

Franks was a three-time Pro Bowler (2001-03) for the Packers, catching 54 passes for 442 yards and seven touchdowns in 2002, setting career highs for receptions and yards. He snagged nine TD grabs in 2001, another Pro Bowl campaign.

But injuries slowed Franks in 2007, limiting him to eight games and he was released in February 2008.

In eight seasons in Green Bay, Franks had 256 receptions for 2,300 yards and 32 touchdowns.

He signed with the New York Jets in March 2008, appearing in eight games in the 2008 season and re-signed with the club in May 2009. However, Franks retired after he was waived in July before the start of training camp.
