The Packers surprised many people by finishing the regular season with a 13-3 mark and earning a second seed in the NFC playoffs. They faced the Seattle Seahawks in the divisional playoffs and things got off to a rocky start.
Two early turnovers by Ryan Grant put the Packers in a 14-0 hole early in the game. But along with Grant, Brett Favre helped tame the storm and lead the Packers to a comeback.
Favre made yet another highlight play when on a third down, he was scrambling to his right when he was tripped. As Favre tried to stay on his feet, he flipped the ball underhanded as he was falling down to Donald Lee, who proceeded to get a first down just before the goal line. Vintage Favre at his best.
Snow consumed Lambeau that night as the Packers completed the comeback in dominating fashion by beating the Seahawks 42-20. Favre finished the game 18-for-23 passing in the blizzard for 173 yards and three touchdowns. It would end up being Favre’s last win as a Packer.
