25. Joe Thomas
Last year: 18
It was another year, another All-Pro bid for Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas, the fifth time in his eight-year NFL career he has been so honored.
He was also named to his eighth straight Pro Bowl, the first offensive lineman in NFL history to turn that trick.
The graduate of Brookfield Central High School attended the University of Wisconsin, where in 2006 he was the first Badger to win the Outland Trophy as college football’s top interior lineman. He was the seventh player from Wisconsin to be selected a unanimous All-American and started 39 of his 48 career games for the Badgers, including one at defensive end in the 2003 Music City Bowl.
Pro Football Focus (subscription required) rated Thomas as the third-best offensive tackle in the NFL last season after he surrendered just two sacks.
Thomas was the third overall pick by the Browns in the 2007 NFL Draft.
