The Brewers signed third baseman Aramis Ramirez as a free agent in December 2011 and the former All-Star with the Chicago Cubs fit right in with his old division rivals.

In 2012, his first season in Milwaukee, Ramirez led the National League with 50 doubles and hit .300/.360/.540 with 27 homers and 105 RBI.

Slowed by injuries the last two seasons, Ramirez was voted into the All-Star Game for the first time in 2014, winning the fan vote and starting at third base in a season during which he missed 29 games with a hamstring injury.

Ramirez was fourth in the NL in total bases and RBI in 2012, fifth in slugging, sixth in OPS and finished ninth in the Most Valuable Player voting.

Ramirez was signed as an international free agent by the Pittsburgh Pirates in August 1994 out of the Dominican Republic and debuted in the majors for the Pirates in May 1998 as a 19-year-old.

In July 2003, Ramirez was traded to the Chicago Cubs and helped the Cubs to their first division title since 1989. He re-signed with the Cubs as a free agent in November 2006 and left for the Brewers after the 2011 season.

Ramirez, who was the Carolina League MVP in 1997 while in the Pirates’ organization, announced the 2015 would likely be his last in the majors.

Here are his stats for his three seasons thus far with the Brewers:
