The Milwaukee Bucks were heading into the month of February fresh off their best week of the season.  Milwaukee ended the month of January with a 3-0 week, winning against the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, and Portland Trail Blazers while having a depleted roster.

Not only did Milwaukee carry over last week’s momentum into this week, but they did it in style; Giannis Antetokounmpo style.

The Greek Freak had his best week as a professional, leading the Bucks to three wins in four games, including back to back career performances against the Lakers and Rockets.

Between the highlights, filling up the stat sheet, and winning games, Giannis Antetokounmpo is starting to make a name for himself outside of the Milwaukee market.  He is giving fans reasons to start paying attention to the Bucks, and start viewing him as one of the best young talents in the league.

And in terms of making a name for himself, he really picked a convenient time.  Already generating buzz because of his upcoming participation in the slam dunk contest, Giannis has been the topic of more conversations.  Whether he be a featured update on SportsCenter, or getting interviewed about his new shooting sleeve, more people are getting to know the name Giannis Antetokounmpo.

While in the grand scheme of things it plays no real part with how the Bucks perform, it’s exciting to see a genuinely nice kid playing for Milwaukee get some national attention.
