Vasilije Micic, PG, Serbia
Micic is a 6-foot-6, 202-pound, point guard who is 20 years old and has been laying for Mega Vizura in the Adriatic League.
The Serbian averaged 12.1 points, 5.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 31.3 minutes per game last season, shooting .462/.289/.698.
He turned the ball over a lot, but also showed the ability to make plays for teammates at a high level. He’s a rarity for an international point guard in that he spent a lot of time running the pick and roll. He’s also an opportunistic scorer even if his outside shooting isn’t very well developed.
His unique tools make him an intriguing prospect, even if his athleticism is not great.
There are some mock drafts that have Micic going late in the first round, so he might not be there when Milwaukee makes this pick.
Projected to come off the board: No. 24-43.
