Ricky Elmore didn’t make it out of his first training camp after being moved to outside linebacker and he impressed so little in camp that he wasn’t invited back to the practice squad.
Elmore spent some time on the rosters of the San Francisco 49ers (2011) and Cleveland Browns (2012), but has not appeared in a regular-season game.
He was last in an NFL camp last season with the Washington Redskins, but did not make the roster.
Elmore was ranked No. 273 by Scouts, Inc. This was sort of a nothing ventured, nothing gained pick.
