Round 3, Pick 96: Alex Green, RB, Hawaii

Alex Green lasted two seasons with the Packers, rushing for 464 yards on 135 carries in 2012, while adding 18 receptions for 125 yards.

He missed more than half of his rookie year, injuring his knee in October at Minnesota and finishing with 11 yards on three carries for the year.

Green was still slowed by the knee in 2012, experiencing swelling late in the season.

He was among the final cuts in training camp last year and was claimed off waivers by the New York Jets, where he had 35 yards on 11 carries last season.

Green was a serious reach at No. 96, having been rated outside the top 150 (No. 151) by Scouts, Inc. and it didn’t work out in the long run.
