Round 7, Pick 218, Ryan Taylor, TE, North Carolina

Ryan Taylor has stuck around for three seasons with the Packers, playing in 45 regular-season games and making eight catches for 45 yards and a touchdown.

He’s been a regular on special teams for the Packers during that time and he hasn’t done anything memorable … or anything terrible, for that matter. He’s just sort of been there.

But he was given opportunities to expand his role in the offense and didn’t really take advantage of them after Jermichael Finley was injured. He made six catches for 30 yards and had two tackles on special teams.

He was not in the Scouts, Inc., top 300 in 2011. We’ve had three years to see why.
