Fans of the Green Bay Phoenix don’t need any introduction to the high-flying act that is senior guard Keifer Sykes.
The 6-footer from Chicago averaged 20.3 points, 4.9 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 34.3 minutes per game for the 24-7 Phoenix last season and earned an invitation to the prestigious CP3 Elite Guard Camp conducted by Los Angeles Clippers All-Star Chris Paul.
While there, he dazzled the camp’s host and fellow campers with a different kind of selfie:
Yes, folks, Sykes put down a windmill dunk after throwing himself an alley oop.
Sykes led Green Bay in scoring last season as the Phoenix steamrolled through the Horizon League with a 14-2 record before being upset in overtime by Milwaukee in the semifinals of the conference tournament last March.
Green Bay went on to a disappointing loss at the Resch Center to Belmont in the opening round of the NIT.
With fellow senior Greg Mays back along with juniors Carrington Love and Jordan Fouse, the Phoenix will be bringing back four of their top five scorers from last season while adding a pair of freshman guards in Daeshon Francis of Indianapolis and Khakil Small of Chicago.
