There will be some key position battles to watch for on offense, as veteran Andrew Quarless is getting a serious push for the starting job at tight end from third-round draft pick Richard Rodgers, with Brandon Bostick also in the mix.

There is also some intrigue on the offensive line, as the backup spots will need to be solidified after versatile Don Barclay was lost for the season to a torn ACL this week in practice. Barclay was expected to back up at both tackle spots as well as at guard. Derek Sherrod needs to step up and show he can be the first tackle off the bench, but the former first-round pick has played six offensive snaps in the regular season over the last two years because of injuries.

Lane Taylor is looking to prove he can be the backup at guard.

Defensively, the key battle is at safety and with Morgan Burnett not on the trip to Tennessee, the spotlight will be on veterans Micah Hyde and Chris Banjo and first-round pick Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to make a move toward securing a starting job.
