The Milwaukee Bucks announced their preseason schedule for 2014 and they will get a look at two of the new-look teams in the NBA.
With much of the NBA news dominated in recent days by a reported trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Minnesota Timberwolves that will involve All-Star Kevin Love and No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins, the Bucks will see both of those teams this preseason.
The Bucks announced their preseason schedule on Friday, which will include seven games, three of them in the state.
The 38th annual MACC Fund Game to benefit children’s cancer research at Milwaukee’s Midwest Children’s Cancer Center will also be the Bucks’ first game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center of the preseason, on Oct. 11 against the Chicago Bucks.
Milwaukee opens the preseason on Oct. 8 up the road in Green Bay, when the Bucks host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Resch Center.
Their other game at the Bradley Center will be Oct. 22, their final preseason contest, against the Timberwolves.
The Bucks will go on the road to play the Detroit Pistons on Oct. 9, will visit the Cavaliers on Oct. 14 and go to the New York Knicks on Oct. 20.
The Bucks and Timberwolves will play on Oct. 17 at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
