Marquette Golden Eagles coach Steve Wojciechowski landed his second verbal commitment for the 2015 freshman class Tuesday when Neenah High School senior Matt Heldt announced his choice via Twitter:
Ecstatic to be committed to Marquette! Thanks to everyone who has helped me on my journey so far. #blessed

Heldt is a 6-foot-10 center who also had offers from Green Bay and Milwaukee, as well as Northern Illinois, Toledo and Xavier.
He is ranked by ESPN.com as the fourth-best recruit in Wisconsin for the 2015 class and becomes the second in-state commit for that year. Sun Prairie point guard Nick Noskowiak committed on May 1.
Wojciechowski was hired to replace Buzz Williams in April after Williams bolted to Virginia Tech.
Wojciechowski had spent the previous 15 seasons as an assistant coach at Duke, where he played from 1994-98.
As a junior at Neenah, Heldt averaged 18.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. Neenah went 26-2 and advanced to the Division 1 state championship game, where they were upended by Germantown 48-42 on March 15.
