Rice Lake F Henry Ellenson To Visit Marquette

Henry Ellenson, a 6-foot-9, 230-pound power forward from Rice Lake, is reportedly visiting Marquette this weekend.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Ellenson is in Milwaukee to tour the campus before going on to visit Northwestern.

A five-star recruit, Ellenson is ranked by Scouts Inc., as the fifth-best recruit in the country for the Class of 2015 and the No. 3 power forward. He is the second-ranked recruit in the state, behind Milwaukee Dominican center Diamond Stone.

Ellenson reportedly has offers from 10 schools, including Marquette, where his AAU teammate, Sun Prairie point guard Nick Noskowiak, has already committed.

Ellenson is a prototype stretch 4, a big body who can drop 3-pointers as well as score inside.

Marquette coach Steve Wojciechowski already knows Ellenson, who has also been heavily recruited by Duke, where Wojciechowski was an assistant until accepting the Golden Eagles job this spring.

His older brother, Wally, left the University of Minnesota basketball team in February and plans to transfer to another school this fall.
