NFL Releases Preseason Slate, Green Bay Packers Home For Final 2 Weeks

The NFL released its complete preseason schedule on Monday, with the Green Bay Packers playing their first two games on the road before finishing up with a pair of games at Lambeau Field.

The Pack opens its preseason slate on Saturday, Aug. 9, in Nashville, Tenn., against the Tennessee Titans for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

The second week of the preseason will find Green Bay visiting the St. Louis Rams on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 3 p.m.

Green Bay won’t have to travel out of the Central Time Zone at all during the preseason—a nice break considering their regular season begins with a prime time game on the West Coast in Seattle on the opening Thursday night of the season.

The home folks will get their first look at the Packers on Friday, Aug. 22, when the Oakland Raiders come to Lambeau for a 7 p.m. kickoff and Green Bay closes the preseason along with every other team in the league on Thursday, Aug. 28, with a visit from the Kansas City Chiefs at 6 p.m.

Green Bay was 1-3 last preseason before going 8-7-1 and winning the NFC North during the regular season.
